Heather Grant MSCP SRP MMACP


Qualified Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge 1979.

Special interests in manipulative therapy having completed a further three year part time course to become a member of the manipulation association of chartered physiotherapists.

Work experience at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London and Groote-schuur Hospital,Capetown followed by private practice establishing Covent Garden Physio in 1990.

Heather is a keen tennis player and enjoys walking and pilates.

 

Andrew Mooney Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Andrew has worked at the clinic since 2004 and returned to the lead clinician role in July 2008 after a one-year sabbatical overseas.

Andrew qualified in Australia in 1997 and graduated with first class honours. He has been based in the UK for the past 10 years. He is a keen runner and has completed an honours research project into running and low back pain. He has worked and traveled in many different public and private settings in Australia, Britain and Asia.

Andrew has special interests in low back pain/pelvic pain, pelvis and sacro-iliac dysfunctions, core stability, lower limb biomechanics, myo-fascial techniques and thorax/rib/shoulder problems.

He has a broad scope of practice including acupuncture, modified Pilates, and manual therapy. Andrew feels that holistic care is fundamental and understanding the science of energy is essential to healing

 

Lene Cunis Bsc(Hons) Physiotherapy

Qualified as a a chartered physiotherapist in 2000 and has over nine years experience in musculo-skeletal and sports injury physiotherapy. She has worked with individuals ranging from the recreational sports person to professional athletes and dancers in the London’s West End. She also has experience treating and rehabilitating a variety of lower back and neck conditions. Some of the techniques used include, manipulation, mobilization, muscle energy techniques and acupuncture.

She integrates Pilates and core stability exercises into her sports rehabilitation programme aiming for lasting recovery following injury.

Special areas of interest include sports injuries, sacro-iliac joint dysfunction, back and neck problems.

 

Heather Broadbridge MCSP

After a career in tourism and some extensive traveling, Heather qualified as a Physiotherapist from Brighton University in 1997. She began work in NHS hospitals before moving to private practice in 2001. She has since worked in a variety of private hospitals, clinics, health clubs and occupational health settings.

Heather is particularly interested in posture, core stability and muscle imbalances. Correction of these can be used to ease pain, prevent reoccurrence of the injury and increase performance. She will often use yoga or Pilates type exercises in treatment and frequently makes use of the Swiss Ball.

Heather is a keen walker and has done several Moonwalks. She has recently taken up running, cycling and swimming and hopes one day to be faster than Leanna!

 

Kevin Kong Bsc(Hons) Physiotherapy

Kevin graduated from University of Otago(NZ) with a Bachelors of Physiotherapy in March 1999. Kevin has worked with Sports and musculoskeletal injuries since 2000 working with Wakefield Sports Medicine Clinic and Wakefield Back Institute(NZ). He came to London in 2003 and joined our team in October 2007.

Outside of physiotherapy, Kevin was also trained as a Personal Trainer and a qualified group fitness instructor. He instructs Body Pump and Body Attack regularly at Cannons Health Clubs. He is also a keen tennis player.

 

Victoria Tisdall
Reflexology and Indian Head Massage

Following a long-held interest in alternative therapies, Victoria studied reflexology with the renowned Bayly School of Reflexology and obtained her practitioners diploma in April 2005. She is a member of the British Reflexology Association.

Victoria then qualified in Indian Head Massage in 2006 with the London Centre of Indian Champissage under Narendra Mehta the pioneer this treatment UK.

To further develop her skills, Victoria has recently obtained her professional diploma in Seated Acupressure (On-Site Massage) with the Academy of On-Site Massage.

 

Mark Edmonds LSSM

Qualified from the London School of Sports Massage in1991.

Special interest in runners, triathletes offering sports specific massage and advice. He is well qualified to offer this as he is an ex-triathlete for the GB team. Massage to relieve work related upper back, neck and shoulder tension.

Worked at Cannons as a sports and deep tissue massage therapist since 1995.
