PILATES INSTRUCTORA trainer for over 34 years Jonathan first qualified as a Fitness Trainer in 1988 and began his career in Health and Fitness working as a Gym Instructor at The Fitness Centre on Convent Gardens’ Floral Street that same year.
In 1992 he went on to spend 7 years as a Personal Trainer based at Cannons Sports Clubs in The City of London and Convent Garden. Focusing primarily on coaching Strength and Conditioning to professional athletes and City professionals.
In 1994 he qualified with the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Instructor.
In 1999 Jonathan joined the team setting up new private members club, Home House in Portman Square where he spent the next 16 years managing his team of Personal Trainers as well as teaching and combining pilates with Strength and Conditioning.
Jonathan was first introduced to Pilates in the late 90s, qualifying with Stott Pilates as a Mat and Reformer teacher in 2005. He also spent a year studying Pilates with internationally respected Pilates authority Alan Herdman.
Alongside seeing clients at Convent Garden Physiotherapy Jonathan also works at Alan Herdman’s two central London Pilates Studios as well as seeing private clients in and around central London.
