Winter has officially arrived with the Somerset house ice rink now open outside the practice. Some of you will be planning and looking forward to Ski / Snowboard holidays over the next few months. Unfortunately knee injuries can occur during these winter sports. One way to help reduce the risk of sustaining an injury is to make sure you are strong through your quadricep muscles. A great and easy exercise to help prepare your legs for those ‘red runs’ are wall squats.
The key here is to try and prevent injury. For a more tailored review of your lower limb strength we have a full team of experienced physiotherapists who could help assess and the prescribe suitable rehabilitation exercise for you or why not look into our ‘Ski Ready’ package which includes a Physio assessment, Hour long Sports massage and 1:1 session with Brian our Pilates instructor.
Beat the winter blues with our special offer of 10% off the initial physiotherapy consultation.
We continue to offer women’s health, ante and post natal physio, pre and post op rehabilitation using manual therapy, exercise, acupuncture and functional training. MARATHON AND TRIATHLON PACKAGES ALSO AVAILABLE
GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE
