
Alain Goma
SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST
Alain Goma played top level professional football for 14 years, making almost 400 senior games during his career. His debut came at AJ Auxerre, after which he joined French giants Paris Saint Germain before heading to Newcastle United in 1999. After two seasons in the North East, he signed for Fulham and played five more years in the Premier League before retiring aged 34 at the end of the 2005/06 season. Alain is also a former French international.
The experience of overcoming several injuries during his career allowed Alain to gain a greater understanding of the human body - how to look after it, how to get the best out of it and how to avoid injury in the future. Having cemented his interest in physical training, conditioning and injury rehabilitation, Alain became a certified sports massage therapist and fitness instructor following his retirement from football and currently holds the following qualifications:
- SPS Diploma in Sports Massage
- Gym instructor Level 2 & 3
- YMCA Personal Trainer Award
