Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2002. The early part of his career focused on adolescent sports including rowing, tennis, and running, and chronic back pain rehabilitation.
On relocating to London in 2010 his main focus has been ballet. He was the sole physiotherapist at the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden for 6 years, and since then treats dancers from international ballet companies and pre-vocational schools, as well as West End dancers. Luke focuses on teaching patients about how their bodies work to enable them to get the best out of their bodies, whether it is to recover from an injury or to improve their performance in their chosen field. His main areas of clinical interest are hypermobility, scoliosis, and bone stress injuries.
Outside of physiotherapy, Luke teaches fitness classes in gyms, is a keen tennis player, and is heavily involved in the London Gay Mens Chorus as a baritone, Head of Music, and choreographer.
